The company has an EMS system in place and maintained. The EMS programs designed respect legislative requirements and allow for continuous improvement. The main principles of the company are part of the integrated Quality Management System and Environmental Management System Policy. SAFINA, a.s. is a member of the Chemical Industry Association and is involved in the Responsible Care – Responsible Business in Chemistry program Personnel is provided by the Environmental Support, Occupational Safety and Fire Protection Department.

The company subscribes to the principles of sustainable development and circular economy. One of the core activities in this area is the processing of secondary materials containing precious metals, whether they are by-products, other secondary raw materials or waste.
